The player takes control of the owner of a small DVD store in 2012 New York City, who becomes a hired killer by night. The game combines dynamic and responsive combat controls with cinematic storytelling, offering the opportunity to use fast-paced gunplay, dodges, slides, and falls to create unique combat moments.
Particular attention is paid to contextual finishing moves, allowing for effective dispatch of opponents using both hands and the environment. During the day, the player manages the store, interacts with the interior, buys and sells goods, changes outfits, and explores role-playing elements, creating a sense of double life.
