Japanese psychological horror about trauma, loneliness, and distorted perception of reality. The main character, Junko, is a hikikomori who has avoided the outside world for many years after a painful childhood experience.
Over time, the boundary between memories and the present begins to fade. Familiar places change, and events from the past increasingly return to Junko's life. Exploring the surrounding world and meeting mysterious characters gradually reveal her story.
To understand what is happening, Junko must confront memories, people, and feelings she has tried to hide from. The story becomes a journey through a traumatic past, where it becomes increasingly difficult to discern what can be trusted.
