Review about the game Butcher's Creek

A failed successor to Manhunt.

Now, more details.

1. Gameplay. It's all pretty simple and straightforward—go, block, hit, block, hit—with the occasional riddle for preschoolers. It's not bad, but it lacked some variety, like the weapons, for example. (IMHO) the brutality wasn't dialed up to the right level. The fights feel a bit rough around the edges, similar to Condemnnet, only in my opinion, even rougher.

2. Graphics. A bit retro. I don't like the visual style in other projects by this same author, but I didn't find this game off-putting. It's also worth noting that the game has a nice atmosphere, and the VHS effect looks quite appropriate here.

А теперь подробнее.

1.Геймплей. Все сводится к простому и тупому -иди,ставь блок,бей,блок,бей,с редкими загадками для детей младшей подготовительной группы. Неплохо ,но не хватило некого разнообразие в том же оружие например + (ИМХО)жестокость не выкрутили до нужного уровня+ощущается некая топорность в драках,примерно как в кондемнете,только по моим субъективным ощущениям ещё более топорно.

2.Графика. Некий закоз под ретро. Мне не нравится визуальный стиль в других проектах от этого же автора ,но в данной игре отторжение не словил. Так же стоит отметить что у игры есть неплохая атмосфера ,ну и VHS эффект тут смотрится вполне уместно.
