An economic strategy and transport-management simulator about building a company that carries passengers and cargo between cities and industries. The player lays roads and railway tracks, constructs bridges, and operates trains, buses, trams, trucks, aircraft, and ships. Profit depends on connecting destinations efficiently and meeting the needs of growing cities.
Rival transport companies compete for lucrative routes, with up to 14 computer-controlled companies in a game; a two-player multiplayer mode is also available. As time advances, vehicle types, buildings, and industries change. Players can tackle pre-designed scenarios with specific goals or generate maps, with settings in North America, Britain, and the Alpine region.
