A once-promising city-builder has, over the years, turned into an insatiable parasite, squeezing players out of the price of a used foreign car for dozens of minor DLCs and demanding the power of a hadron collider from your PC just to watch traffic jams at 15 FPS. The developers haven't bothered to fix the lobotomized intelligence of drivers lining up in single file on an empty six-lane highway in 11 years, but they've successfully crammed in a mandatory spy launcher and mod-breaking patches. The vanilla version, without any extra costs, feels like a neutered demo, and attempting to build a working metropolis without any Workshop hacks is guaranteed to crash due to insufficient RAM.
