Civilization: Call to Power — in general, the game is a “spiritual successor” to Civilization 2, significantly expanding the gameplay with various mechanics and innovations. As in the Civilization series, the player takes control of a single nation with the goal of leading it to prosperity and greatness. However, in addition to the traditional eras (ancient times, the Renaissance, the New Age), the game contains eras belonging to the distant future — the Genetic Age and the Diamond Age. Future technologies also make it possible to colonize not only land, but the world's oceans and near-Earth space.
