This tactical strategy game depicts the British offensive in Normandy during World War II, as forces attempt to break through German lines west of Caen and cross the River Odon. Command takes place on strategic and tactical levels: battlegroups can be moved or combined on the strategic map, while battles involve directing units and deciding their outcomes.
Forces include infantry, armored cars, tanks, mortars, machine guns and artillery, with air strikes also available. The conflict can be played through individual battles, operations and a grand campaign focused on Operation Epsom. The opposing forces include British units and German Panzergrenadiers, with vehicles such as Churchill, Cromwell, Sherman, Panther and Tiger tanks.
