Cubicle Quest

Set in the world of modern office life, this role-playing game turns dead-end jobs, routine obligations, and irritating coworkers into enemies in old-school RPG battles. Quests affect the protagonist’s life, helping with career advancement, making friends, and working out personal goals. As the adventure progresses, the protagonist gains allies and personal strength to confront the forces keeping them at a desk.

Combat uses work and interpersonal skills rather than familiar elements, and the party can include nine characters. Income comes from a regular job, side gigs, and potentially running a business; money can go toward savings or stocks as well as paying off debt. Permanent choices and time-based challenges shape each playthrough. The choice of marriage partner—or staying single—also affects the game’s second half.
