This side-scrolling arcade platformer is set in the medieval Kingdom of Castile, where the knight Don Ramiro is ordered by King Alfonso VI to drive evil from Tolomera. A demon has turned a young witch’s tears into a key that opens the gates of the underworld, and the enemies include creatures from European folklore and chivalric tales, such as mouros, Ojáncanu, Nuberu and Malismo.
Across eight stages, the hero runs, jumps, dodges traps and fights enemies with an assortment of weapons. Secrets and power-ups can be found along the way, with more than 48 enemy types and 19 bosses to face. An illustrated bestiary covers the legends behind the creatures, while the player’s performance determines which of the four endings is reached.
