Dark Scavenger is a point-and-click role-playing adventure blending science fiction and dark comedy. A powerful space traveler is stranded on a mysterious alien planet alongside three eccentric aliens, and must find a way to repair the ship as a conflict between warring factions unfolds under threat from a sinister force. The player can choose whether to get involved in the planet’s troubles or focus on escaping.
Exploration and choices shape the story, with multiple possible outcomes for encounters. Turn-based battles revolve around combining equipment to exploit enemies’ weaknesses, while collected loot can be converted into unusual gear. A New Game Plus mode offers another chance to discover what was missed on the first playthrough.
