Deep Despair is an adventure role-playing action game with a top-down view and survival elements, inspired by the popular Minecraft. The game replicates many mechanics of the infamous "cubical adventure," but most of them are reimagined for the sake of realism and plausibility. In the game, you can gather resources — on the surface and in mines. You can build houses, craft items and weapons. You can also grow crops, as hunger plays a role in the gameplay. There is a day and night cycle, and nighttime can become a serious challenge.
