This first-person simulation follows Julian Luxemburg as he waits at home for a date who has failed to show up. As the clock ticks, he turns over his worries about work and his boss, his fascination with Byron, and his friendship with Jerry, who encouraged him to go on the date.
The player takes the role of Julian’s subconscious, tapping the table, checking the clock and eventually starting to eat as his thoughts unfold. These actions at the dinner table echo Julian’s reflections. His story plays out in a continuous 3D environment through a voiced monologue accompanied by animations.
