Empires in Ruins is a fun top-down real-time strategy game with tower defense elements. Something happened in a small state full of corruption, pomaded dandies, self-righteous priests and power-hungry military officers. A corner forgotten by the gods, the Western Marches, broke out in rebellion, cut off all communications with the capital and declared its independence. Who else to send to deal with the mutiny if not a grumpy drunken sergeant with discipline problems and a VERY bad temper?
