This space simulation follows an independent mercenary setting out in the Sapphire star system to build a fortune and reputation on their own terms. Players can take contracts or act independently, trading, mining, spying, racing, escorting passengers, and fighting in civilian space or war zones. Progress is not bound by plot requirements: the mercenary’s choices and accomplishments shape their role, wealth, and standing.
The seamless universe allows travel between planets and star systems, descents into planetary atmospheres, and exploration of asteroid fields. Objectives can be completed solo or with a clan in cooperative play. Ships, equipment, money, and crew acquired during the game carry over between single-player and multiplayer.
