This casual strategy and management simulator is set in a medieval fantasy kingdom where the player rules four villages. Their populations and economies develop on their own, while the king guides their growth and helps them become prosperous cities that can gain independence at a population of 600.
The player can change each city’s priorities and status, respond to requests for food, loans or temporary relief from tribute, impose emergency taxes, and hold elections for local rulers. Cities have their own economies, birth and death patterns, and morale; each ruler is assessed across five attributes. Troops can be bought to defend against attacks by beasts or other cities, while generals can be sent on adventures to recover artifacts that can be exchanged for money or food. Worlds and playthroughs are randomly generated.
