Final Fantasy XIV: Evercold Gets a February 2027 Release Date and New Job
Square Enix said Final Fantasy XIV: Evercold, the next expansion for Final Fantasy XIV, needed a little more time to reach the quality the team wants, and the studio has now set its launch for February 23, 2027.
The release had originally been planned for January, but producer and director Naoki Yoshida said the team needs more time to deliver the quality it is aiming for. Pre-orders open on November 4, 2026, and eligible players will get early access starting February 19, 2027. Evercold is the game's sixth expansion and its patch 8.0 release.
