Gears of War is an action game with a third-person view in a fantastic post-apocalyptic setting. The game's plot revolves around Delta Force soldiers defending human settlements on the planet Sera from a ruthless underground enemy — the Locust Horde. The main character of the game is Marcus Fenix, a former prisoner and battle-hardened fighter. To successfully complete the game, the player will need to use cover and carefully think through rolls and shooting. A second player can join the campaign in co-op mode. The game also features several multiplayer modes for up to eight players.
