In video games, only classic ice hockey with a puck has gained popularity, but occasionally other types are encountered. It is a team contact sport in which two sides try to score the puck into the opponents' goal. Each team consists of five field players and one goalkeeper. Hockey simulators are the most popular, with the best ones being released once a year.
