Wakeboarding is an extreme sport that represents a hybrid of acrobatics and surfing. A person stands on a special board while holding onto a cable that pulls them forward. During the movement, various tricks of differing complexity must be performed. There are 2 types of wakeboarding: in one, the athlete is pulled by a boat, and in the other, a special cable system, which can be shaped like a ring.
