This mod allows Dexterity-focused characters to effectively use one-handed melee weapons without investing Learning Points into Strength. For supported weapons, both requirements and damage scaling are switched from Strength to Dexterity.
Features:
- Changes weapon requirements from Strength to Dexterity for supported one-handed weapons;
- Moves damage scaling from Strength to Dexterity;
- All one-handed swords are enabled by default;
- One-handed axes and maces are supported but disabled by default;
- Two-handed weapons remain unchanged;
- Bows continue to use their normal mechanics;
- Preserves each weapon's original requirement value;
- Updated requirements are displayed in item tooltips;
- Adds configurable Dexterity-based bonus damage through the Scale setting;
- Creates a viable melee option for Dexterity builds;
- Pairs well with the Strength Crossbows mod for alternative character builds.
Flexible Configuration:
- Every one-handed weapon has its own enable/disable option;
- Allows individual control over swords, axes, and maces;
- Lets players create their own split between Strength-based and Dexterity-based weapons.
Build Compatibility:
- Dexterity build — bow plus Dexterity-scaled one-handed weapons;
- Strength build — two-handed weapons plus crossbows using the Strength Crossbows mod.
Installation:
- Download the archive;
- Extract the contents to: \G1R\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods.
