This mod adds an immersive way to skip time in Gothic 1 Remake by allowing time to pass while sitting on benches, chairs, and stools. It provides a natural alternative for waiting until shops open, quests update, or the desired time of day arrives.

Features:

  • Allows time to pass while sitting;
  • Works with benches, chairs, and stools;
  • Provides a more immersive waiting mechanic;
  • Useful for waiting until shops open;
  • Ideal for quest progression;
  • Makes it easy to advance to a different time of day;
  • Does not restore Health;
  • Does not replace sleeping;
  • Keeps the interface immersive by not displaying an on-screen clock;
  • The current in-game time can be viewed through the player panel.

Configuration:

  • All settings can be edited in: G1R_ImmersiveTimeskip.ini
  • Restart the game after making changes.

Main Settings:TimeScale (default: 30)

  • Controls the overall speed multiplier;
  • Higher values make time pass faster;
  • Lower values slow down time progression.

SkipHoursPerSecond (default: 0.5)

  • Defines how many in-game hours pass per real second at TimeScale = 30;
  • By default, 30 in-game minutes pass every real second;
  • The actual rate automatically scales with the TimeScale value.

ScanIntervalMs (default: 300)

  • Controls how often the mod checks whether the player is sitting;
  • Lower values provide faster response times;
  • Higher values slightly reduce CPU usage;
  • Values between 500 and 1000 are recommended for lower system load.

Additional Information:

  • While sitting, press K to open the player panel and check the current in-game time.
