A quality-of-life modification for Graveyard Keeper 2 that expands the player's personal inventory capacity, which is written directly into the save file structure. The mod raises the default carry capacity to 40 slots with headroom scalable up to 300 slots. To prevent corrupted data upon mod removal, it features a built-in safe uninstallation routine that safely resizes the inventory back to vanilla parameters while keeping the unlocked "Deep Pockets" perk bonus fully preserved. Making a precautionary save file backup before adding or removing mods is strongly advised.

Customizable Grid Capacity — Carry capacity is completely user-configurable through config settings or mod interfaces.
Safe Uninstallation Routine — Dedicated revert mechanism safely scales inventory boundaries back to vanilla defaults without damaging active save files or stripping away Deep Pockets perk bonuses.

Two Distribution Variants:

Main Version — Standalone release configured via standard BepInEx configuration files.
GK2 Mod Framework Version — Integrates with the GK2 Mod Framework for seamless in-game adjustments via graphical menus.

Requirements & Installation:

Ensure BepInEx 5.x (Unity Mono) is installed in your Graveyard Keeper 2 game folder.
Launch the game once with BepInEx installed, then exit to desktop.
Extract the downloaded mod archive.
Copy the .dll file into:
BepInEx/plugins/
Launch the game.

Configuration Instructions (Main Version):

Launch the game once with the mod installed to generate BepInEx/config/nizy.gk2.betterplayerinventory.cfg.
Open the configuration file in any text editor.

Available parameters:

InventorySize = 40 — Dictates the baseline slot count for the player character (defaults to 40; can be set up to 300).
PrepareForUninstall = false — Safe uninstall toggle. Keep this set to false during regular play.

Safe Uninstallation Instructions:

Open nizy.gk2.betterplayerinventory.cfg and set PrepareForUninstall = true.
Launch the game, load your saved game so the inventory reverts to vanilla dimensions, and save your progress.
Exit the game.
Delete the mod's .dll file from your BepInEx/plugins/ folder.
