Set in 2741, this real-time strategy game with action elements depicts the Terran Empire’s siege of the Northern Star Alliance, a coalition of colonies forced to retreat to its last stronghold after losing a space battle. In Ground Control 2: Operation Exodus, players command squads of infantry, tanks, artillery, and aircraft across a 24-mission campaign spanning two factions.

The campaign can be played cooperatively, while a separate competitive mode supports up to eight players on local network maps. Alongside the Alliance forces, players can command the alien Viron army and merge its troops into more powerful units.
