Hereford 1642 is a city recreated on historical maps, illustrations and surviving buildings. The streets, fortified walls, a castle and a bridge over the Wai River - all parts are transferred with maximum accuracy. More than 200 buildings are open to visitors, and rural surroundings extend outside the city gate. A 4 × 4 km map allows you to explore the area for a mile around, admiring the silhouettes of the cathedrals and churches prompt from afar. Life in the 17th century is filled with many details: clothes, money, transport, writing and dialect of that time create an atmosphere of another era, where much seems familiar, but much - completely different.
