This top-down arcade shooter with RPG elements sends the royal guard into Cryptonia’s ancient magical crypts to rescue an abducted princess and recover the kingdom’s treasures. Iron Crypticle can be played solo or in local co-op for up to four players, with combat against hordes of creatures using close-range attacks, weapons and magical scrolls.
Each floor has branching rooms that shift and reform between runs. Defeated enemies drop food, which can be collected in chains to improve speed, damage, fire rate and weapon duration; these abilities can also be upgraded in shops. A dash and the Atomic Fist help the hero escape dangerous situations, while a cat merchant and an arcade room offer opportunities to earn coins and health.
