The game very well demonstrates such qualities as love, loyalty, and especially true friendship. Fritz and Matej are Henry's childhood friends. The protagonist has rescued them more than once, saving them from the gallows, but when Henry needed their friends' help in rebuilding Pribyslavitz, they naturally refused, as the village didn't yet have a tavern where they could drink away Henry's earnings and gamble.
