Set in a high school, this visual novel with role-playing elements follows the Kokurase gang as they help Sakura, a freshman, win the attention of Yoshimitsu, a popular senior. The group includes its leader Genji, newcomer Riho, the mysterious Meg, and Kanta, a supernatural sleuth.
Players switch between gang members, explore the school campus, and help carry out a plan to bring Sakura and Yoshimitsu together. Characters interact with one another and with other people at the school using key phrases; speech puzzles and a series of tasks move the story forward.
