This flight simulator focuses on piloting modern U.S. and Russian combat aircraft. Lock On: Modern Air Combat features eight aircraft, including the A-10 Thunderbolt II and Su-25 Frogfoot ground-attack planes, as well as the F-15C Eagle and Su-27 Flanker air-superiority fighters.

Players undertake combat missions and campaigns, using aircraft to strike ground targets and engage in aerial battles. The game combines realistic flight modeling with flexible options for both newcomers and experienced flight-simulation fans.
