The mod includes six completely different cave biomes: Magnetic Caves, Primordial Caves, Toxic Caves, Abyssal Chasm, Forlorn Hollows, and Candy Cavity. Each biome offers its own atmosphere, hazards, creatures, materials, and gameplay mechanics.

To begin exploring these underground regions, players must first discover an Underground Cabin somewhere in the Overworld. Inside, they will find cave tablets and the Cave Compendium, a guidebook that explains the mod's mechanics and helps locate every cave biome.

For the best visual experience, it is recommended to play without shaders, as many shader packs can alter the carefully designed lighting, fog, and atmospheric effects that give each biome its unique appearance.
