A turn-based, card-based RPG with roguelike elements follows a hero who joins the Monster Slayers Guild and ventures through the perilous Northern Valley to defeat the legendary Harbinger. The journey brings encounters with undead, goblins, lion outlaws, dragons, and other foes.

Players choose from six classes, fight with a deck of cards, and add to it with cards found at merchants, in treasure chests, and among allies. Companions contribute special abilities, while loot improves the hero’s stats. Levels, enemy encounters, and loot are randomly generated, and fame earned on each run unlocks abilities for future heroes.
