This 2D fighting game centres on the Mortal Kombat tournament, hosted by the sorcerer Shang Tsung. Fights take place one on one: a round goes to the fighter who drains the opponent’s health bar first, and winning two rounds takes the match.
Combat uses punches, kicks, blocking and movement around the arena, with attacks varying according to the distance between fighters. The move set includes uppercuts and leg sweeps, while special moves are performed with joystick directions. The game also features the Test Your Might mini-game, a scoring system and Fatality finishing moves.

Not the best fighting game, but a fighting game. I played it on the first PCs (I don’t remember what they are called). Then I got a Sega and of course bought it for the collection. I bought it after putting in who knows how many hours in MK Ultimate, so I have something to compare it to. I can say the following about the game itself - poor character animation (the developers drew few frames), few techniques, few fighters and one mode - wet the enemy column and defeat the shantzung. Yes, the game has Fatalities - this probably made the game popular in its time. Due to the small number of fighters, the number of these finishing moves can be counted on one hand. Не самый лучший файтинг, но файтинг. Играл в него еще на первых ПК (уже не помню как они называются). Потом появилась у меня сега и для коллекции конечно же приобрел. Приобрел ее после того как набил хрен знает сколько часов в MK Ultimate, поэтому есть с чем сравнить. О самой игре могу сказать следующее — плохая анимация персонажей (мало кадров разработчики нарисовали), мало приемов, мало бойцов и один режим — мочи в колонке врагов и победи шанцунга. Да, в игре есть Фаталити — это наверное и сделало игру популярной в свое время. Количество этих добиваний из-за небольшого количества бойцов можно пересчитать по пальцам. В нее можно поиграть вдвоем, но сказать что затянит значит наврать. Итог к игре такой — если хотите понастальгировать, то лучше запустите MK ultimate, или Trilogy. Фанатам не… Read full
