Cold Symmetry has given Devout Edition owners early access to the open beta of Mortal Shell 2 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, with the wider console rollout following three days later, on August 17. The test is free, does not require a pre-order or a paid subscription, and includes the opening three hours of the game.

Playstack says demand for Mortal Shell 2's PS5 Revered Edition has been strong enough that some markets can no longer take preorders, and the publisher is warning fans not to expect many, if any, extra copies before launch.
