This music-industry management simulator puts the player in charge of a record label as its manager or CEO. The business can begin as an independent company or compete in the commercial pop market, and players can acquire rivals and manage multiple labels.
Players sign artists and bands or assemble groups through talent searches, then release albums, singles, music videos, compilations, and other recordings. Bands can tour and perform at festivals, while sales are affected by population, the economy, piracy, seasonality, and music trends. Artists’ egos, personal relationships, and behind-the-scenes developments can affect production schedules, and more than 50 charts track bands’ performance around the world.
