Set in the open roads of Redview County, this arcade racing game centers on the rivalry between street racers and the police. Players can take either side: racers compete in high-speed events and evade pursuit, while police work in teams to track down and arrest them.
Races and chases are tied to a speed-points system that puts those points at risk. Cars can be customized for performance and appearance, while pursuit gadgets allow both sides to adapt their tactics on the fly: racers use turbo bursts, jammers, and electromagnetic pulses, while police deploy shockwaves, spike strips, roadblocks, and helicopter support. In single-player, AI controls the opposing racers or cops; the game’s online servers are no longer available.
If you want to treat yourself to a good NFS, buy last year’s Most Wanted. The creation released by Ghost Games this year is hard to accept even remotely as a true Need For Speed. The project feels more like the work of amateurs tinkering in their spare time, rather than the product of a serious studio.

Need for Speed: Rivals... The first game from Ghost Games, published by EA. It was released in November 2013 and received fairly high ratings, but is it all that good?
Plot?
The game was released as a spiritual successor to NFS Hot Pursuit (and rightly so! Criterion Games, the studio that revived Hot Pursuit in 2010, helped develop Rivals) and is in many ways similar to Hot Pursuit. And since there was no plot in Hot Pursuit, the emphasis was not on it at all.
In short, the eternal confrontation between racers and police is increasingly gaining momentum. Both sides are furiously trying to wear each other down and knock each other out of the game using brute force.

Игра вышла духовным наследником NFS Hot Pursuit (и правильно! Criterion Games, студия которая возродила Hot Pursuit в 2010 году, содействовала в разработке Rivals) и во многом похожа на "Горячее преследование". А поскольку в Hot Pursuit не было сюжета, то и тут акцент делали вовсе не на нем.
Если коротко, то вечное противостояние гонщиков и полицейских все больше набирает обороты. Обе стороны яростно пытаются измотать друг друга и выбить из игры, применяя грубую силу.

So, only now I got around to writing a review on this game.... And-and-and-and... I just, damn it, don’t know what to write about it... So I’ll just list all the pros and cons of this games which I felt were the main characteristics of this game.
Let's start with the positive aspects:
+When I entered the game I saw quite nice and detailed graphics, I even thought for a second that I was playing on Next-Gen (yes, this is my first time played with a friend on PS3). Seriously, the graphics are so awesome that they can give some exclusives a run for their money, and during the entire session I never lost the game (well, this is understandable, we play on a console, so I didn’t highlight this as a separate plus). Итак, только сейчас мои руки добрались до написания отзыва по этой игре....И-и-и-и...я просто, блин, не знаю, что по ней написать...Поэтому просто перечислю все плюсы и минусы этой игры, которые, как мне показалось, являются основными характеристиками этой игры.
Начнём с положительных моментов:
+Зайдя в игру я увидел довольно приятную и детализированную графику, я даже на секунду подумал, что играю на Next-Gen'е (да, я в первый раз играл у друга на PS3). Серьёзно, графика настолько офигенна, что может дать фору некоторым эксклюзивам, причём за весь сеанс у меня ни разу не просела игра (ну это понятно, на консоли ведь играем, так что я не стал выделять это в отдельный плюс). На новом поколении игра и вовсе выглядит потрясающе.

Just a great game in it, everything is well done, graphics, physics, technology, upgrading a car, Ravel is similar to a hot purse, but it’s better in everything, it’s become more pleasant to drive, the car feels on the road, a good idea, but the plot is simple, but it doesn’t interfere, there are different types of races, a race with re-pursuit like in a pursuit, get away from the cop and more.. The maps in the game are huge, there is where to accelerate to the maximum even on the most powerful cars like the Agera or Muiron, I advise everyone to go through this part
Просто отличная игра в ней все класно сделано графика физика технологии прокачка авто , райвел охож на хот пурсют , но лучше во всем ,ездить стало приятнее машина чуствуется на дороге , хорошая задумка , но сюжет простенький но он не мишает , появились разные виды заездов гонка , гонка с переследованием как в персюте , уйди от копа и ще.. Карты в игре огромная есть где разогнаться до максимума даже на самых мощных авто типа агеры или муйрона советую всем пройти ету часть
