Old-school cyberpunk action that combines elements of a side-scroller and a "target" type shooter, where the action unfolds simultaneously on multiple planes of the level. The player takes on the role of one of two hired killers, moving through the streets of a dystopian future New York, using a wide arsenal of weapons and an upgrade system. The game features attacks on both the foreground and background, the ability to deflect enemy projectiles, and the option to hijack vehicles for pursuits.
Different difficulty levels are available, including an arcade mode. The game supports local cooperative play, and at the end of each mission, players face unique bosses with their own attack patterns and phases.
