The creators of Ouya raised the necessary funds for the production of the console on Kickstarter. A total of 8.5 million dollars was donated to create the console. Ouya runs on the Android operating system, has compact dimensions, and is priced at only 3,000 rubles. The console uses free software. It has been supported by gaming companies such as Square Enix, SEGA, and Telltale Games. The creators of the console plan to release a new version of Ouya once a year.
