Portal Stories: Mel is a community made, free modification for Portal 2 based in the Portal universe.
It tells the story of Mel, who meets a new personality core and faces an undiscovered threat to the Aperture facility.
1952, in the early years of Aperture: Science Innovators, Cave Johnson’s scientists experimented with whatever they wanted. Not everything worked as it should have though, but that wasn't going to get in the way of the progress of Science! Mel unfortunately took part in a faulty test called the Aperture: Science Innovators Short-Term Relaxation Vault, falling asleep for years. When she finally wakes, there is a fake Cave Johnson telling her she needs to escape the facility and a new device called the Aperture Handheld Portal Device, her mind races with questions. “Who is this imposter Cave Johnson?” “What happened to the facility and its staff?”

What do I need to install Portal Stories: Mel?
You need to OWN a copy of Portal 2 on your Steam account in order to be able to play the mod.
You DO NOT need to have Portal 2 installed.

No current plans, we just finished working on Mel!

A great addition to the original game.
There is atmosphere and jokes, and the tasks in this add-on are often more difficult than those in the original game.
Perhaps it’s my fault, but the first couple of levels took me an hour and a half, although I didn’t have to think about the two parts of the original game for more than ten minutes.
The graphics in this add-on are several levels lower in quality, but they look harmonious and stylized.

Присутствует атмосфера и шутки , а задания в этом дополнении зачастую сложнее заданий в оригинальной игре.
Возможно это моя вина ,но первые пару уровней у меня заняли полтора часа , хотя над двумя частями оригинальной игры думать дольше десятка минут не пришлось.
Графика в этом дополнении по качеству на несколько уровней ниже, но она смотрится гармонично и стилизованно.
An excellent modification to the second part. The plot is well-done, the puzzles make you rack your brains, and the visuals are impressive. I really liked the game and I highly recommend that you check it out.
P.S. The very first scene in the mod is a very cool reference to the beginning of Half-life
