PostCollapse is a single-player survival simulation set among the ruins left by the collapse of civilization. The player scavenges useful items from buildings, vehicles and the surrounding environment, crafts tools, hunts and fishes. Its procedurally generated world includes buildings that can be chosen as a headquarters for storing supplies and sheltering during winter.
The short seasonal cycle makes it necessary to gather enough food in summer to get through winter, while time of day affects temperature, visibility and wildlife behavior. Players can grow potatoes, carrots and other crops, chop trees, make campfires, and craft a bow, arrows and a fishing rod. Tasks introduce the game’s activities, and there are no zombies.
