This real-time strategy game is set amid the political struggles of the emerging Roman Empire. Battles take place in Egypt, Gaul and Italy as rival forces contend for the title of Emperor.

Players command one of three factions: the Gauls, the Egyptians or the Roman Legions. Different unit types and characters have their own abilities and formations, and victory depends on combining units and exploiting the enemy’s weaknesses. Resistance grows stronger as the campaign approaches the Emperor, whose personal Praetorian Guard is among the forces standing in the way.
