The events of the game take place in the near dystopian future, teetering on the edge of cyberpunk. This is a world where advanced technology coexists with archaic architecture, and bright neon lights up city streets. People have not yet become living machines, and the police are still forced to rely on the good old methods of investigation, without total surveillance through chips in the heads of citizens.

The plot centers on detective Janusz Wozniak, a veteran of his profession with a tragic past. The death of his parents, alcohol problems and loneliness made him a distant and gloomy person, but this does not prevent him from remaining a professional in his field. Janusz is assigned to investigate a murder in an elite residential complex. However, contrary to expectations, he is not the main character of the story. This role is taken on by the PSI - a portable systematizing researcher or, as Janusz calls him, a “dog”. This is a new generation robot that looks like a mechanical box on four legs.

At first glance, PSI is just a tool. He must collect evidence, analyze data and even assess the physiological state of suspects. However, an unexpected virus begins to change his essence. As the PSI becomes infected, it takes on personality traits, becoming more and more autonomous. The player will have to decide how to use new opportunities: remain a devoted assistant to the detective or hide important details from him. Evidence turns into a tool of influence, and the PSI's beliefs can conflict with Janusz's point of view, adding tension and drama to the story.
