This adventure puzzle game centers on programming robots in an underground city, where the protagonist falls through the floor and must find a way home. In Robot Odyssey, the player controls three robots to solve puzzles and make their way toward the upper levels of Robotropolis; a fourth robot joins them later.
Tasks are completed by assembling digital circuits from logic gates and flip-flops inside the robots. The robots can operate autonomously, communicate and work together, and use found chips containing pre-programmed circuits. Challenges range from navigating mazes to retrieving objects, with five levels that call for increasingly complex solutions. The game also includes a tutorial and a laboratory for testing robots.
