RymdResa is a space adventure with roguelike and RPG elements, following a pilot who has lost their home and searches for a new one in a vast, unfamiliar universe. Its world is procedurally generated, with planets, stars and ships to discover, while resources are scarce. The story is conveyed through abstract, poetic elements and the pilot’s voice logs.
The player explores space, gathers randomized loot and upgrades the ship with different items and modifications. As the pilot gains levels, their development can focus on exploration, scavenging, survival or technology. The adventure spans three chapters, each with its own narrative and gameplay, and is nonviolent.
