Settlers 3 — The game's plot is presented using animated films between levels. The introductory video of the game depicts 3 gods: Jupiter (Romans), Horus (Egyptians) and Chi Yu (Chinese), mired in inactivity and drunkenness. The Supreme God, dissatisfied with their behavior, orders them to find a worthy leader among their people who will lead him to victory over others. The God of the victorious people will escape punishment. The player takes on the role of leader of one of the 3 nations.
