A fleet-focused strategy game in which players assemble a taskforce and lead it through missions to exert influence across planetary regions. Resources for building ships are gathered in asteroid clusters and nebulae.
The fleet develops over the course of play as commanders advance and ships are customized with loot salvaged from wrecks. Battles unfold across large playable areas, and actions in different regions can bring order or cause chaos.
