A ship-control simulator built around missions across the globe, with players taking on the roles of captains in stories based on real events. Tasks include confronting illegal whale hunters in the Antarctic and evacuating passengers from a cruise liner in distress. The available vessels range from hovercraft and Coast Guard interceptors to tankers, tugs, and cruise liners.

A separate environmental campaign lets players captain Greenpeace ships and undertake ecological missions based on real events. Sailing conditions vary from calm waters to extreme weather, and an online multiplayer mode allows players to sail together.
