Star Wars Zero Company is Bit Reactor's debut game, and the turn-based strategy title has opened with an 86 on Metacritic from 41 PC reviews. Developed with Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts, it launched on August 27.

That score makes it the highest-rated Star Wars game on Metacritic in 22 years, matching the reception the franchise last saw with Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II — The Sith Lords back in 2004. It has now moved ahead of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor at 85, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga at 82, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Star Wars: Squadrons at 79, and Star Wars Outlaws at 75.
