This nonlinear horizontal shoot ’em up takes place around the star Omios, invaded by the Meroptians, biomechanical creatures waging a war of conquest. The player pilots a ship, chooses a route and fights the invaders across different planets, either alone or in cooperative multiplayer.
The campaign has 21 levels divided into 35 sublevels, with route choices shaping the journey. Missions include weapon selections and power-ups, while the opposition ranges from more than 100 enemy types to 35 bosses. Alongside the solo and co-op modes, the game features the separate Robot Chase mode, as well as secrets, multiple endings and a ranking system.
