Syberia: The World Before

The new game Syberia about the adventures of Kate Walker has surpassed Syberia 3 in many ways.

I really liked the interesting and mysterious plot. There are also many new game mechanics. Now you can switch between several characters in the story and live through the events of Kate’s ancestors’ past. New interesting, but not very intricate puzzles. Pros:

- Magnificent city and landscapes around

- as always, an exciting plot that, like a good book, you want to live through to the end

Cons:

- lacks dynamics. Well, everything is very slow. I would like to be able to skip dialogues or cutscenes. Run faster, don't be stupid on turns, etc.

- despite the perfect depiction of the city, the characters let us down, for the game 2024 I would like more realism

I love Siberia from the very first part. And now more than 10 years have passed, but the graphics and dynamics have changed little. That's why I give it a solid 8

It is really a wonderful game that tied me up from the start and that also worked on me even after the end of the game! A super beautiful graphic and the story is just beautiful. Some puzzles are pretty tricky, but after all you should also use your head.

I liked the game, like the first part of Siberia. The views are just amazing! An unplaced story. Although somewhere, maybe primitive. But to me - a lover of quests B. Sokal - very much has set. Definitely, both graphics and engine are much better than the previous part: it does not lag, Kate Walker is quite cheerful, the dialogs are related, there is logic. I recommend it!

This is not a game, this is living. Beautiful, unhurried, entertaining. You can't play during the movie moments, but you can't tear your eyes away, so I warmed up. That is, I played, and my body is fine. There are many "non-game" moments, but it looked like "look how great we drew the texture of the wood." And I really admired it. In addition, I was unable to complete the 3rd part, since it froze on the PS three times in different years, so I was glad to return to my favorite story of Kate and Hans.
