This turn-based role-playing game follows Jerrat, a farmer who sets out to avenge the brutal murders of his wife and son in a fantasy world. His personal story becomes entwined with the fate of a nation, and he must pursue revenge without losing the qualities his wife loved.

Seven characters and one optional companion can join the journey, with up to five members in the active party. Each level-up lets the player allocate stat points, while the difficulty and the visibility and frequency of random enemy encounters can be adjusted. The game also features side quests and secret rooms, and potions can be crafted from ingredients using recipes.
