The Good Life

The Good Life is a 3D third-person adventure with RPG elements from the creators of Deadly Premonition and D4: Dark Dreams Don't Die. The action takes place in the small town of Rainywoods, where journalist Naomi Hayward one day arrives. She has large debts, and therefore the girl needs to earn a lot of money as soon as possible. It turns out that something strange is going on with the local residents. At night they turn into animals. As soon as the heroine finds out about this, a mysterious murder occurs in the city. The girl wants to uncover the secrets of Rainywoods and find the culprit.

The game offers a certain freedom of action. You can explore the open world, grow vegetables in the garden, cook food, visit pubs, interact with locals, earn money to buy various things, and turn into cats and dogs. By the way, some mechanics are tied to this. For example, in the body of a cat the heroine can climb trees, and as a dog she can track down targets. Naomi can also make money. To do this, she needs to take various photos and then post them on a social network to increase subscribers.
